2019 TUOLUMNE SAR
I’m from the beaches of Santa Monica, CA but have spent the last couple years in the mountains on the eastside of the Sierra. I chose to be on SAR so that I could help those in need all while climbing as much as possible in the most beautiful place on earth! When the season ends I plan on chasing summer to South America.
I’m from the good ole land of Tennessee. Wahoo! I chose this beautiful home of Yosemite so I could practice wilderness medical skills, romp in the mountains, and become part of the greatest team/family I have ever worked with. After the season ends, I will go back to Salt Lake City working as a Nurse in a few ERs for a few months before hopefully coming back to Yosemite for another awesome YOSAR season. Thank you to everyone who supports what we do!
I grew up in the Capital Region of New York State (nowhere near New York City), and will always be a northeasterner at heart. I made my way to California a few years ago, drawn by the deep snow and sunny rock of the Sierra Nevada. I came to YOSAR to continue to work on my rescue and medical skills, and learn from some of the best in the business. I plan to continue chase steep skiing and long alpine rock routes for as long as I am able.
I grew up in Summerville South Carolina and move to Greenville South Carolina after graduating from The Citadel. I wanted to work on YOSAR in order to practice my newly earned paramedic skills and push my abilities as a climber. I am pursuing a career as a paramedic in the surrounding counties in California and one day a career as a physician assistant.
